Neighbor v. Neighbor:  In a real property dispute involving our clients' right to access their home, I successfully obtained a summary judgment which permanently secured their long-established easement rights to use a driveway over neighboring property.

Excavation Co. v. Homeowner:  At arbitration, I successfully defended a homeowner in a contract dispute in which a regional excavation company sought to recover tens of thousands of dollars.  Additionally, I secured an award for attorney fees and costs incurred by our client.

Buyer v. Car Dealer:  I successfully defended a car dealer in a lawsuit in which the buyer alleged claims of unfair trade practices and fraud.  Additionally, I secured an award for attorney fees and costs incurred by our client.

I began private practice in Bend, Oregon after completing a series of clerkships at the Oregon Supreme Court. Following my graduation from Willamette University College of Law in 2005, I served as a petitions clerk to Chief Justice Paul J. De Muniz and then as a judicial clerk to Associate Justice Virginia L. Linder. While at the Court, I developed an invaluable skill set that benefits my practice everyday.

Since moving to Bend, my practice has focused primarily on representing clients in a variety of civil cases in Oregon’s trial and appellate courts. I have also represented clients in land use proceedings before Deschutes County, Jefferson County, the City of Bend, and the Land Use Board of Appeals, and in other administrative matters before the Public Utility Commission of Oregon and the Oregon Water Resources Department. In addition to being a member of the Oregon State Bar, I am also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Oregon. I currently serve in the Oregon State Bar’s House of Delegates and on the board of directors for the Cascade School of Music.

As a native Nevadan, I have a deeply rooted affinity for the high desert. So, Bend is a natural fit for me, and I never take for granted the quality of life and recreational amenities it provides. Hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing with family and friends are among my favorite outdoor activities. I also enjoy listening to all types of music and playing the guitar.
